Reference(REF) Leadwire-LW102

The NeuroTrac® lead wire REF is a single conductor reference lead wire designed for use with EMG biofeedback devices. It functions as the reference or ground lead during EMG monitoring, helping establish a stable electrical reference point when electrodes on skin are used for signal detection. Manufactured for NeuroTrac® rehabilitation devices, this lead wire supports accurate signal acquisition when used alongside EMG electrodes and compatible equipment.

Overview & Intended Use

The Verity lead wire (REF: LW102) is used with NeuroTrac® rehabilitation devices. It is designed for EMG biofeedback applications where a reference electrode is required.

Compatibility & Application

Electrical Connection & Function

The Lead wire – REF functions as the ground or reference electrode in a differential amplification circuit during EMG biofeedback procedures.  The presence of the reference lead wire is essential for accurate EMG monitoring. Without the reference connection, EMG and ETS (EMG-Triggered Stimulation) readings may become inaccurate or unstable. Proper connection is required at both the device and patient ends. On the device side, the round black plug of the lead wire should be inserted into the round black socket located at the bottom of the unit and marked REF. On the patient side, the opposite end of the wire has a 2 mm male pin connector that attaches to a self-adhesive skin electrode placed on the skin.

FAQs

The NeuroTrac® lead wire REF is used in EMG biofeedback systems as a reference or ground lead. It connects the reference electrode to the device to establish a stable electrical reference point.
It is designed for NeuroTrac® devices such as MyoPlus Pro, MyoPlus2 Pro, MyoPlus4 Pro, MyoPlus2, MyoPlus4, NeuroTrac® Simplex, and Neen Peritone.
The reference electrode should be positioned away from active electrodes, usually on electrically neutral tissue such as a bony prominence, to reduce electrical noise.
Yes, the lead wire is latex free and designed for safe use in clinical environments.
