NeuroTrac® Sports XL-ETS201

DUAL-CHANNEL STIM UNIT The NeuroTrac® Sports XL is a dual channel STIM device designed for muscle building, muscle toning, muscle rehabilitation, sports, and cellulite reduction. Under the guidance of a physiotherapist or clinician, NeuroTrac® sport xl provides neuromuscular stimulation for athletes and active individuals to improve training and rehabilitation outcomes.

Overview & Clinical Applications

The NeuroTrac® Sports XL is a medical device that helps reduce pain. It also helps improve blood circulation, enhance muscle tone, and increase muscle strength, endurance, and resistance. Additionally, it supports the development of maximal strength and explosive force, promotes active recovery, and helps reduce muscle fatigue.

The NeuroTrac® sports xl is ideal for sports medicine clinics, physiotherapists, and active individuals. The device offers precision giving full control of pulse widths, rates, ramp up
times, work / rest cycles as well as alternating or synchronous application if
two channels are being applied.

Dual channel Sports XL device has all the features of Sports device, plus:

  • Stronger symmetrical stimulation, with the reduced pulse width: 50 – 330 μS
  • 2 lead wires for each channel giving a total of 8 electrode positions
  • 21 pre-set sports programmes and 3 customisable programmes
  • Advanced multi-phase programmes where treatment is split into time phases with different stimulation parameters

Model number: ETS201. This product is available through selected distributors who are able to provide training and support.

How the NeuroTrac® Sports XL-ETS201Works

The NeuroTrac® Sports XL works by delivering precise electric signals to stimulate the neuromuscular system through surface electrodes placed on the body. This dual-channel stimulator activates muscle and nerve fibres using controlled pulse width, frequency, ramp time, and work/rest cycles, allowing clinicians, therapists, and users to regulate how muscles contract and relax during treatment.
By stimulating muscles with controlled electrical impulses, the device helps activate muscle fibres and support neuromuscular training. The stimulation can improve blood flow, enhance muscle tone, and develop muscle strength, endurance, resistance, maximal strength, explosive force, active recovery, and reduction of muscle fatigue.

Technical Specifications

  • Dual channel: individually isolated circuits.
  • Amplitude: 0-90 mA into 500 Ohm load; actual mA will tend to be less than indicated due to electrode impedance: at 1000 Ohms load (Electrodes in poor condition) the maximum will be limited to 86 mA, at 1500 Ohms load the maximum will be limited to 65 mA.
  • Type: Constant current, maximum output voltage 180 Volts +10 / -30 Volts
  • Waveform: Symmetrical, rectangular bi-phasic with zero DC current.
  • Selectable pulse width: 50 μS – 330 μS [2% accuracy].
  • Pulse Rate selection: in the continuous mode 2 – 100 Hz [2% accuracy].
  • Time duration of the treatment selectable: 1 minute to 90 minutes.
  • Low Battery Indicator: If the battery goes below 6.9 volts +/- 0.2 volts the battery symbol will flash on/off once every second.
  • Open Electrode Detect: If an open circuit is detected at the output of channel A or B the output current will be reset at zero.
  • Ramp up time 0.1 – 9.9 seconds.
  • If the battery voltage is below 6.6 (+/- 0.2) volts the unit will not turn on.

FAQs

The NeuroTrac® Sports XL is a neuromuscular stimulation (STIM) device that delivers precise electrical signals to stimulate muscles and nerves. It is a dual-channel stimulator with multiple treatment programmes and adjustable parameters such as pulse width, rate, ramp time, and work/rest cycles. These controlled signals help activate the neuromuscular system for therapeutic and training purposes.
The device is used for general pain relief, including back pain, and for several non-medical performance goals. It can help improve blood flow, muscle toning, muscle strength, endurance, resistance, maximal strength, explosive force, active recovery, and reduction of muscle fatigue. These functions make it useful for both rehabilitation and sports conditioning.
The device should be used under the guidance of a clinician, physiotherapist, or doctor who can determine the appropriate treatment settings and electrode placement. It can be used in clinical settings and may also be used by patients at home when prescribed and supervised by healthcare professionals. Proper instruction ensures safe and effective therapy.
The device should not be used by patients with demand-style cardiac pacemakers, during pregnancy unless medically advised, or on certain sensitive areas such as the carotid sinus or across the chest near the heart. Only CE-approved skin electrodes should be used, and electrodes must be properly connected to ensure safe stimulation. These precautions help prevent unwanted electrical risks and ensure correct device performance.
